Alignment: Clearing Space for What’s Next

A new year, fewer distractions, and more intention

January always feels different.

It’s quieter. Slower, and more intentional. Less about doing and more about deciding. And this year, one word kept coming up for me — alignment.

Alignment isn’t about perfection or pushing harder. It’s about honesty. About noticing what still fits… and what doesn’t anymore.

Over the past year, my jewelry table (and my mind) got a little crowded. Too many pieces, too many styles, too many “maybes.” Beautiful things — but not all of them still aligned with where I’m headed.

So I’m making space.

✨ What alignment looks like right now

  • Retiring many older designs
  • Simplifying collections
  • Refocusing on pieces that truly reflect intention, energy, and craftsmanship
  • Preparing for a new chapter (and a new website) this spring

Some designs you’ve seen for years will quietly step aside. Not because they weren’t loved — but because growth asks for room.

Part of this alignment also means being more intentional about where and how I show up. I won’t be doing every weekly market the way I once did — not because I’m stepping away from in-person events, but because I’m choosing them more thoughtfully. I’m shifting more of my energy toward my online space, where I can create, share, and connect in a way that feels sustainable and aligned. You’ll still see me in person — just with more intention behind each appearance.

✨ Why letting go matters

Just like in life, holding onto everything dilutes the energy. When we release what no longer serves us, what does belong gets to shine brighter.

That’s the energy I want my work to carry into this year:

  • intentional
  • grounded
  • honest
  • aligned

✨ A note on January’s birthstone

January’s birthstone, garnet, has long been associated with grounding, strength, and steady forward movement. It’s a stone that encourages alignment from the inside out — helping you reconnect with what truly matters and move forward with clarity and confidence.

To me, garnet feels like quiet resolve. Not rushed. Not reactive. Just deeply rooted energy — the kind that supports intentional beginnings and honest choices.

✨ Trusting the Timing.

At the heart of all of this is patience — something I continue to work on. When I see others finding success or doing something that seems to be working, it’s tempting to jump on the bandwagon and abandon the path I was on. The shiny object syndrome. The impatience. The discomfort of waiting for things to click.

But alignment asks something different of us. It asks us to trust our own timing, to stay rooted in what feels true, and to honor that our path doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s. When your heart, head, and soul are moving in the same direction — even slowly — life begins to flow with more ease.

That, to me, is alignment.
